WOFAN Conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) for WOFAN Extension team on the use of coconut shell and rice husks in producing grass and fodder , to feed livestock. Both materials are organic products that are ordinarily thrown away or classified as wastes.

The WOFAN Extention team are expected to partner with relevant agric agencies to step down the initiative to about 5000 farmers from 10 LGAS of kano state and progress to sister neighboring states gracefully.
This is expected to reduce the cost and problem of feeding our livestock especially if the project is expanded to a higher level using wild leguminous crops along our grazing zones.
