Hajia Salamatu Garba- WOFAN CEO, bags the 2016 ASHOKA FELLOW AWARD from Nigeria

In a joint letter signed on 26th April 2016 by Josephine Nzerem and Ifeyinwa Egwaoje Venture and Fellowship Managers of Ashoka Africa, they announced Hajia Salamatu Garba WOFAN from Nigeria as the African recipient of 2016 International AWARD and welcoming her to the Anglophone West African and worldwide team.

The aim of the Ashoka Fellowship is to recognise social entrepreneurs who have created systems­ changing new ways to solve challenges.
"We are excited to be on your side and work with you on opportunities and challenges that will further encourage you in your movement to create a world where everyone is a Changemaker.

Hajia Salamatu was nominated as a result of her passion and focus on women, youths and education co-existing and co-creating across business, empowerment and citizen sectors for positive change. congratulations to our dear Change maker
