With increased cases of maternal and child mortality, a non-governmental organisation, Brown Button Foundation, recently trained traditional birth attendants in Katsina State on safe birth methods.

VIP Latrines Provided in Sokoto LGA

All the communities benefiting from the WASH project in Sokoto State contributed in kind to the implementation of the project. As their contributions to the construction of the toilets, community members volunteered time and labor to dig the pits for the VIP Latrines.
