Baby-Lac Baby Food- A Simple Solution to Malnutrition, receives applaud from rural women in Kano state

 As part of its efforts to contribute to the reduction of malnutrition in Northern Nigeria, WOFAN has launched Baby-Lac, a rice and groundnut-based food preparation for malnourished children under 5 years old.

WOFAN and Brown Button Foundation collaborate on safe motherhood issues with support of Katsina state Government

With increased cases of maternal and child mortality, a non-governmental organisation, Brown Button Foundation, recently trained traditional birth attendants in Katsina State on safe birth methods.

WOFAN Joins Millions To Mark the Global Hand Washing Day 2012

 In Kano, WOFAN joined Millions all over the world to mark the  Global Handwashing Day on October  15- 2012.  Over 3000 pupils from 20 schools and 5 LGAs  of Kano State ,Nigeria  , converged  to Sabon gida primary  in Kumbotso LGA

VIP Latrines Provided in Sokoto LGA

All the communities benefiting from the WASH project in Sokoto State contributed in kind to the implementation of the project. As their contributions to the construction of the toilets, community members volunteered time and labor to dig the pits for the VIP Latrines.
